Elderly African Man Beaten By (3) Foreign Merchants

Peoples Investigation has thus far revealed that on the evening of Sunday, July 27, 2014. On the southwest side of Chicago,Illinois. At and around the CLARK gas station on the corner of 55th and South Damen. After being accused of not paying for a .50 cent bag of potato chips. After said chips were placed on the counter. An elderly African man exited the franchise in which approx. three (3) foreign merchants exited the gas station/store with baseball bats. In which they proceeded to beat the elderly Black man on the head and body area. In plain sight of children, women and the community in general. Only to be ceased by community response. (Below are depictions of the head/body wounds incurred as a result of the beating. Along with the blood spattered clothing of the elder).

To add insult to injury, after the elderly Brother attempted to file a complaint. He was informed by the police that he may go down on his own to the police station and file a complaint. Subsequently the merchants continued to conduct their business uninterrupted without any charges by law enforcement.

We further add that we have yet to witness any of the state sanctioned 'Stop the Violence' advocates make any statement. We have yet to see any coverage from the mainstream media nor the negro press. We have yet to hear of any of disc jockeys or entertainers put out a call 'To put the bats down' to the merchants. Nor have we heard of any response from the Aldermanic representative of the respective ward. "Conducting a People's Investigation subsequent to an elderly man being beat in the community."
